Working Group Meeting for EFNYO Managers & Bootcamp for Musicians, October 27 - 29, 2016, London
A MusXchange working group meeting for managers and bootcamp for musicians took place between October 27th - 29th, 2016, in London. The meeting was organised under the guidance of experienced trainers of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in cooperation with Cause4, a social enterprise for developing innovative and entrepreneurial programmes for charities, social and arts companies. Managers' workshops focused on mentoring musicians' entrepreneurial projects, digitally enhanced learning environment, and interdisciplinary projects.
On the first day of the MusXchange Meeting in London, EFNYO managers received a workshop in Mentoring Musicians' Entrepreneurial Projects held by Helena Gaunt. On the second day, Christina Guillaumier from the Royal College of Music gave a presentation on "Online Teaching and Coaching Tools". Michelle Wright (Cause4) talked about the Cause4 Journey and wider industry with a focus on orchestral practice.
Sessions were filmed for a documentary on the experiences of both managers and musicians, and interviews were held with participants and trainers.
